- Plate marking tools:
- EC Lyons, of New York, make good basic tools (needles, roulettes, scrapers, etc.) You can buy them from printmaking suppliers in Australia, but the import mark-up is huge. It's quite easy to register an account with them, use their shopping cart and get them sent out. Delivery takes about three weeks
- Zinc plates
- Artroomers, at Mittagong, are a good source of low-cost zinc plates. The plates do have some surface flaws that need to scraped out. But they seem perfectly acceptable for 'student' or 'workshop' work
